Write the missing lines

Here's an idea I just thought of. See what you think.

I am going to write half of a poem...

That half is going to be structured like... Written line.. then a missing line.. then a written line and so on..

What I want you to do is to write the missing lines.

Here is the poem.



(missing title)


Upon my soul the kiss of light

(missing line)

The Angels sing a tender dream

(missing line)

Forever was born in my heart that day

(missing line)

And all that we were became enchantment

(missing line)

My love.. my soul my life in your hands

(missing line)

Death take me and make me beautiful

(missing line)




Right so your brief here is to write the missing lines and of course the title and make the poem your own and it can be about whatever you like - I am interested to see your take on it. I will be judging on imagery, feeling and rhyme if you can.

    Hi everyone..sorry this took so long to judge I have been going through a pretty hard time and this wasn't a priority - lost my job and everything is going crazy.. bills the lot. Even so this was a great contest with some wonderful entries. Sorry I haven't commented but I am sure you will agree the finalists and winner were all spectacular. I'd love to give you all points but I can't .. well done everyone.
