Welcome to round 2 and congratulations!
Last round we wanted to see what you had so we gave you what we thought would be difficult. This round will be much easier.
As with the last, reserve a spot, as everyone reserves, your prompt will be added to your poem page as a comment. Be sure to check for it.
This round is title inspired. Each of you will be given your very own, the titles are from Imperfezione Bella's poetry. The ladies will have to write for titles of my poetry. Use the title to create no more than 20 poetic lines. You do NOT have to use the title as a title but, you do need to use it as the inspiration and make note of it in your AN.
3 poets (6, in total as 3 ladies will be eliminated as well) will be eliminated in this round. Though it may be a bit easier, we still want poems that will blow us away. hehe No pressure, gentlemen!
Just to let you know, what with the holidays, we will give you more time for this round as opposed to round 1. We're all very busy and it is only fair. It's not much though, entries will have to be complete by the close of December 31st, USA PST.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 7, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 6 people
- Final notes: Very well done, all of you...congrats to the winners!!
I want to thank all of you for your entries and let you know that the judging in this round was much harder. I'm proud of all of you for the hard work and dedication you put into this round.
I have to agree with what Bella said on her contest page so I will just steal her words here, I know she won't mind. One word of advice as it seems to be a very common issue is watch the punctuation!! IT's such a small thing but it really takes away from the scores and since it is part of the criteria, I'd reccommend giving it a go. Also, think more outside of the box...not that it's been a huge issue but just want to remind you!
To those of you whom did not make it to round 3, please do not be offended or let it get you down...your entries were wonderful and I am so grateful that you gifted us with your talent...it's been a pleasure!
Unfortunately again there will only be one elimination this round as one person wasn't able to keep their commitment and another withdrew their poem prematurely.
Now let's get serious gentleman, I think you REALLY need to step it up a notch this round as you have been very lucky. You are doing a wonderful job however; the ladies might be getting the upper hand here.
Round 3 will be up and running a little later today, alink will be posted on THIS contest page and a link will be sent to you via IM. Again, well done ALL of you and congrats!!
Be well and be blessed.
