    usually autism is diagnosed at a young age, as in under 3 years old. it is a developmental disorder. you were probably diagnosed with and autistic spectrum disorder. i think that you mean aspergers disorder. it can be diagnosed in adolecence. http://www.aspergers.com/ ---> more info

    if you do for sure have autism, i know how it feels. i was born with it and diagnosed at an early age. i had a lot of early intervention to become the way i am now.

      Yeah well I kept getting misdiagnosed until now. I have autism. Thank you for 'trying to clear things up'.

        wow, i do know that autism is hard to diagnose. you must be higher functioning. well, i know how you feel, and you are not alone!!
