Pay an Earth Angel, Please

We all know someone who makes smiles combust, who uniquely holds our attention. This is your cue and you may rhyme or not, your choice, but begin with "You are the..."

Please spell check. No sticky caps. I love good metaphor, imagination, poetic license, and laughter--in good taste--of course. This is for fun.

Take your cue from this, my poem To Earth Angel:

http://allpoetry.com/poem/3723554

It's simple...Just write a poem for someone (post it in my contest) and send it to them with an invitation to write a poem for someone else on AP...to make a garland. They don't have to be in the contest or write a poem...just invite them to light someone's day.

Merry Christmas!

Klassy Lassy

Cool, I know a few of those types here on AP.

I once held someone's attention...I spent 30 days in the country jail for doing so... Sorry

I shall try to enter, smiley people deserve to be applauded...too many grumps around.

Pay It Forward? Excuse me, I don't enter many contests these days, what and how would I pay forward? I always see that around but never really understood what is expected.

    I'll just post a non-entry entry.

I think in this sense of "Pay it forward" It means hold another contest to give away some of the points you won in this contest if you win.
Its based of the idea that if someone does something good for you then you do something nice for three people then they do the same it would make the world a better way. That is from the movie called Pay it Forward. You should check into seeing it because it was a good movie.

Thanks a lot! I saw the movie, I just wasn't sure how it worked with contests here on AP. Thanks again.

No problem. At first I was like "PIF, what's that?" But once I knew that stood for Pay it Forward I sort of got it.

Not the usual PIF this time, no contest required, Christina...just a poem written for someone else and forwarded to them! ~ Klassy

    Thank you

for the shiny thang, and the excuse to honor, in my own wee way, one of the poets here that has given my eyes, my head, the food that nourishes a beginner's hunger for better verse than ours.

Thanks for the silver, sorry for the late thank you. I think Mariza said thanks for me though. I needed an AP break for a few days.

Thank you again, the trophy for my poem is nice, but the trophy for the subject of the poem means much more to me.
