It's that time of year again!
Sometimes people can have a hard time getting in the holiday spirit so this is what I want you to do - enter this contest!
~ Choices ~
1. Write a Christmas or Holiday poem that's funny.
2. Write a song about the holidays that will leave you singing when you're done reading the lyrics.
3. Write a Christmas or Holiday poem using metaphors.
4. Write a Christmas or Holiday poem about a special memory you have around this time of year.
5. Write a Christmas or Holiday poem dedicated to people that help serve the country.
i.e. The Army, etc.
To the winners:
The winner gets one month of free gold and 300 points. ( Thanks To Kevin for the gold membership! )
The winner will have a choice of keeping it or giving the gold to someone else.
Silver winner gets 200 points.
Bronze winner gets 100 points.
There might be honorable mentions.
The Rules:
1. No more then 30 lines please. If it goes over a couple of them put the reason why in your author notes.
2. If you want to write in a form that's fine. Any kind is welcomed.
3. Please no profanity.
4. If you don't celebrate Christmas then there is the choice of a Holiday poem on all selections.
5. Please make all poems readable.
6. No prewrites are allowed.
Violet Moodswing will be helping me judge this.
This contest will be closed on Jan.1st, and judged no later then Jan.5th.
That will leave you a couple of weeks to reserve your spot, and write.
Plus you'll have a few days to finish up the final touches.

The First, Second, and third place winners will also be spotlighted on the front page unless if you say so otherwise.
