Here ya go ya war torn goofballs. I'm a vet from nam and I invite veterans of any war, conflict, police action whatever it was called to write about your experiences.
This contest is open for all to view, including kids, so watch the language some. You know the specs.
The form of the poem doesn't matter, I just want what it was like for you. I AM hoping though that there might be a few with pleasant experiences.
Have at it you grunts, swabbies, flyboys or leathernecks. All are welcome so get a load off your chest, just be kind to the kiddies who may read some of this.
Welcome Home, Brothers, Sisters....everyone.
PLEASE, this contest is strictly for veterans or about them by someone very close. If I can't tell the poem is related to war experiences, I will DQ it. I'm sorry, but this one isn't for other kinds of trauma. I'll do one of those later.
Thank You All
If you are a Veteran and need help, go to this site. It has NOTHING to do with the VA, it is an organization run by Veterans for Veterans. Non profit.
