Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on December 12, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 4 people
  • Final notes:
This was even better than the last one.
Every entry I'd rate at least 8/10.
The top 7 get the awards, who were all gold-worthy. In the end, I went with how the poem interested me- how it pulled me in, etc. So what I am saying is, even the ones that were technically the best did not place as high...some poems just had some brilliant content that I couldn't ignore.

Whoever wrote (a) poem(s) that made the top 7 advance to the third, final round.
The others did an awesome job, but have been thrown out of the party. [yes, life sucks now. but you'll be okay.] lol

In another month or two, when you all have written more poems, I'll have another prewrite contest like this. I know some of you were having a hard time finding ones that I haven't read before...and a few of you even deleted pretty much all of your poems. etc.

Good job to all of you. =]

I don't have any freeverse prewrites about love. I barely ever write about love. Send me a link next time you open a contest.

be careful Tyler, you will have to cut through the woods of crappy poetry, where the mods dont ever go, that way, you wont have to worry about getting caught
