12 hour Winter Quickie

I feel like Winter so

you have 12 hours to make me feel the Winter chill.....I want the feeling , the scents, sights and sounds of Winter... I won't tell you what I like about Winter, I will just leave it to your imagination...

I am looking for vivid imagery and other use of poetic devices.....I love to feel emotions, so show me your heart.....

no line limit.....12 hrs from now I will judge

Lynda

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on December 9, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
I was so pleased with the turnout as well as the quality of the poetry in this contest...I cried, laughed and had to go make tea I felt your emotions and your love, (and sometimes hate) of winter...but I have to say that I was truly amazed at the imagery in most of the poetry in this contest...Please realize I could only place some but that does not mean I would not have loved to give more...AP rules do not allow for ties due to the rule for trohy pick up, or I would have awarded my HM's with gold/silver/bronze as well...

Thank you to all, and those of you who are new to my contests, I hope that you return, and those who already enter regularly, please never stop...
    TY for touching my heart
