Inspiration

Hey hey.

This is a pretty open contest, all I want you to do is INSPIRE ME.

I haven't written or read any poetry in ages... make me fall in love with it again.

I want to feel the emotion in your poems, whether it be laughter, sadness, happiness or something in between.

There are no other rules, other than to make sure you check your spelling and respect each others entries.

Of fear and pride
Of fear and Pride

Take haste my child and gather to me
among your candid chronicles
envelope close to all you hold
feign not the fire that licks at thee.
Such flames that force then fake retreat
shall never char nor call your end,
while smoke that mocks shall not caress
desires that tempt your life to quench
nor ever reach it’s goal to claim
a braver love than mine .
