Lol, I seem to be one of the few people in the world who LOVE fruitcakes... especially the kind with lots of nuts along with the fruit, and nice and moist ... yummy.
I remember one year that I made a bunch of fruitcakes and stored them above the kitchen cabinets with rum poured over them ... by the time to give them to people they were so scrumpteous!! But months later I was cleaning the kitchen, one of those really good deep cleanings and guess what... there, pushed back against the wall was a fruitcake I'd missed... and guess what... it was still really scrumpteous!! I guess we really can pass them back and forth from year to year
I'm gonna bookmark this contest and try to get an entry in before the closing day
