Do we write just a quote or do we write a poem to go along with the quote?

You write a poem to go along with the quote but make sure that the quote is in your author notes

In the body of the contest, you state “The poem can not go over 35 lines.” I am a Mama type person so I’m asking, on the several poems posted to the contest that exceed the line allowance, are you going to warn them before you DQ?
If you’re not, is it okay if I do? Ommamomma

Well I have already sent a note out saying they have only a couple of more days to finish changes. If by chance the lines are only a couple of lines over then i'll allow it. But if they are like three or more depending on the form, etc then they will not qualify for the front page.
Also, sometimes the line count isn't always right so I never go by that. I usually wind up counting each line to make sure.
If this didn't answer your question please feel free and IM me.
I have no problems answering any questions
