This may seem a bit complex, but it's rather easy when you get the hang of it... I promise.
I love picture inspired contests, but hate that when I host one, I get 20 entries of the same picture, leaving the others unused. Now, I like to get new views of a picture as different as their writers. That’s why this contest is going to be a tough one…
There is only one rule to this contest: follow the 3-step instructions listed below!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pick a number between 1 and 100, after checking the available picture numbers below and the poems posted this far (see step 2).
Available pictures:
003 - 004 – 006 – 010
014 – 015 – 016 – 019 - 020
022 – 024 – 026 – 029 – 030
031 - 032 – 034 – 038 – 039 - 040
041 – 043 – 045 – 046 – 049
052 – 053 – 054 – 056 – 058 – 059 – 060
061 – 063 – 064 – 065 – 067 – 070
071 – 072 – 074 – 075 – 076 – 078 – 079 – 080
081 – 082 – 084 – 085 – 086 – 087 – 088 – 089
091 – 092 – 093 – 095 – 096 – 097
2. Reserve a spot/picture in this contest by opening a new empty poem, with the PICTURE NUMBER and your allpoetry.com USERNAME as the topic (for examble: 001 - USERNAME). I will then IM you the link to the picture you chose as soon as I humanly can. As soon as I send you the picture, I will edit the “available pictures” –list so there won’t be any mistakes on this one!
3. Write me a poem inspired by this picture and wish yourself some good luck in the contest! If you use the pictures in your poem, also remember the credit them properly…
You can enter up to three poems for this contest by this same method, but you can reserve a new number only after you have written a poem to the previous picture granted to you. If the picture doesn’t speak anything to you, you can change it by contacting me directly.
Don’t worry; this really isn’t as difficult as it sounds!
This contest will be open all of December and will close January 1st. It will be judged January 5th the latest.
I’m wishing for a lot of entries, as my earlier contests haven’t sparked that many poems this far. So tell about this contest to all your friends who might be interested of it. Tell about it to all the strangers who might be interested of it.
If I get up to 50 entries to this contest, I will DOUBLE the points!

UPDATE - November 29, 2007
I'll be adding the finished poems to the Finalist list so it's easier to go through them. I wasn't planning on using the whole finalists list for this contest but it'd clear up things... Hope this helps make some sense to all of this.

UPDATE - December 5, 2007
It seems there's been some problem in sending messages to some people. I've sent them the picture (I actually checked it form my sent messages) but they never reached their goal. So, if you haven't received a picture in 3 days after you submitted your request, contact me directly and I'll send it again.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 5, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 300, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: I'm sorry it took all the way to the last day for me to judge this one. But now I'm here and finally got the contest closed!
What a contest this has been... I have to say this was the toughest I've ever judged and I want to thank you all for that! I got so many amazing poems that it was a tough job trying to order them. But I love them all so I really want to thank you.
The winners I chose were the ones that touched me the most when reading them. Some say I'm picky when it comes to poetry, so blame me if you don't agree. But they were the ones I liked the best and that's my final opinion.
Thank you all for entering and all the best for you in the future too! ^_^

I have to admit you guys aren't making this an easy contest for me... It's only December 2nd and I have soooo many amazing entries already... The judging process will be a great fun, knowing I'll read these wonderful poems over and over again!
-
I want to see if I can enter again...can I try number 094 for 500 Denierim?
-
Can I enter again?
If so,

When will this be judged?

Thank you so much for hosting and inspiring such good writes
Thank you too for Gold and an HM...3 in the top 9 is a good statistic, I know how hard it is to please a poet who loves perfect form - you make me pen the very best that I can and I'm most grateful for it
Well done winners! La x

I'm sorry for that, there were some mess ups at the point I got back to judging this contest. I just now remembered to check the requests that were left before the contest was closed for judging (I was on a Christmas trip at 31st of December). It's my fault and I'm so so sorry for that *bows, apologises and begs for forgiveness*
I am hosting another of these contests for January if you still are interested. Same rules, but this time I won't be traveling anywhere so I'll make sure everyone gets a prompt.
Again, I'm sorry for that. *bows* -
