So, to feed my recent obsessions I have decided to make a contest so that YOU fellow poets can supply me with the words I cant seem to grasp... There is three different topics to dink around with...
Serial Killers-
Now for this, I want extreme creativity. Work with it, mutilate it, make it your own. I mostly looking for the perspective from a serial killers mind, how they view things. Look at from all angles, literally, NO boundaries! Below is a link to a website with quotes from serial killers they may help to inspire your own in-visionary creations!

Dreams-
Now, for dreams, I'm not talking about your life dreams or what you want to achieve I mean the dreams that you have when you sleep. Is it the only way to experience something either again or for the first time? Is it reality? Write about dreams you had, rambles about what dreams are, anything off that basis.
Death-
Lately I've been extremely intrigued with others reaction to death. What is death? I want deep thoughts about death. The hurt it comes with. Desensitization to death? Anything. Dont make it too personal just mostly death itself. What it is? Good or bad? Is it truly the only thing that makes life important? Just ANYTHING about death or the idea of death, DIG DEEP!!
No rules, No boundaries, just find what you want and CREATE! Any Style, Any Way!
Oh if you decide to use one of those quotes as inspiration please put it in your author comments... Im not required, just for my own curiosity!!

- Final notes: This was definately difficult. So many of you deserved a gold on this one, but as you know only few can win. Yes, this contest stirred up alot of contraversy because of its topics, but you all helped feed my disgusting fasinations with death and killers and dreams... Now a little breifer on the winners..
So Gold is going to Monday mo[u]rning... This poem touched my heart the first time I read it. I found myself reading it to a couple people also.. oops. But for everyone that I shared your beautiful poem to, they all had the same reactions... The "AWE", and "oh my god" (with hand over the mouth) it was remarkeable. Definately deserves 1st!
Silver goes to Fire Side Tales Jack 1888. I hadn't seen these type of poems since I've been on allpoetry. It's a spoken video, so wonderfully crafted, and the accent in the poem made it even more creepy. The elaborate descriptions brouht it to life, and the poet did not ignore any small detail. I also shared this with a couple people. Letting them listen, and everyone was deeply impressed.
Bronze goes to Anonymous Smiles of Dreamer Eyes. This poem was very creative. The reason I loved this poem so much is because its something that I feel very connected with... Curiosity. Beautifully written.
Thank you everyone for entering and making this contest truly what it is! Thank you for all the wonderful poems that you entered sharing your poetic perspective with me. Im truly sorry about the wait, with the holidays and everything it was truly hectic! But your patients is very much appreciated!!

Some creepy ass stuff there, especially on the serial killers...
Death, murder, rape... It's all so very exciting.
I've written some fiction about things like that... Some good quotes I made up?

Brilliance. I too enjoy that sort of stuff! As you can tell by the comment scuffle, some people disagree... Some people are just too afraid of death and brutality that they coward behind their own words. I do hope you enter! Its nice to meet others that feel the same way! Discussing disturbing things sounds quite pleasant! I always enjoy a good fucked up conversation about fucked up things! Your quotes make me smile. I have a feeling me mind works in the same evil and wicked way that yours does.. Keep in touch.

I was thinking maybe I could write a poem about what aomeone could do to make you think of or undertake death?
