Arthurian Poems

You can write about King Arthur, Lancelot and Guenevere, The Search for the Holy Grail, or even Merlyn. If it is about any of the Arthurian legends, it is welcome.

A few rules...

It must rhyme.

Metered will most likely be preferred over non-metered.

It must tell of the legends accurately.

If you're thinking about the movie, "King Arthur" with Keira Knightly you should probably be on your way. That movie was highly inaccurate and ridiculous.

Don't be too lengthy.

Keep it around 30 stanzas at most.

You may enter as many times as you like and prewrites are allowed.

This was a very enjoyable contest. Everyone followed the rules and everyone entered very very worthy entries.

I chose these winners because of how they moved me and on their form and flow. I think that everyone should read the gold winner especially. It is most original and very good.

Thank you all so much for participating and letting me read your wonderful poems.
