Each Wednesday, from now on, there will be a top poem of the week from Winklings. In fact, 5 awarded poems.
Each Wednesday, the contest will close, maybe!
If there are not 15 poems, then the contest will run for two weeks, but this will be a pity. Well, I shall keep my promise! This contest runs another week.
This contest is open to Winkling groups only.
The people in the contest will send me the top three poem names, in order of merit, apart from their own. Do this as soon as Wednesday arrives at YOUR PLACE!
You cannot do this unless you follow our mission statement. [You know what I mean! It would be very nice to critique at least the poems you like!!! And more if you wish.
In fact, I am personally awarding the best critique with 100 points and inviting you in fifteen weeks' time into a 'Winkling Critiquers' Contest' worth 1000 points for Gold.]
Winners from here (Gold, Silver and Bronze) go into a fourth term contest of this year for the pre-Christmas Winklings Championship.
If you do not think you can win with your poem, placing a poem in allows you to CRITIQUE!!!
If you do not do this [Letting me know of your choices for Gold, Silver and Bronze] within 2 days of the contest closing, you will be disqualified. So, there is a responsibility here which should be fun.
Please write between 12 and 24 lines, inclusive. The theme is ... umm ... let me think ... ????
ummm ... ahhhhh ... umm ... I know! The beauty of trees or the beauty of a mountain lake or the beauty of an old person's face or the beauty of innocence.
Finally, send me an Instant Message (as a distress signal) if you do not understand.
PLEASE ALL CONTESTANTS:
Send me the winners you
have personally chosen.
Now!!
