There is so much crap going on in a lot of the world today and even in my life..... There are days that I just look at the window and wonder if it will get any better... give me hope.. make me look at my window and make me smile.... make me want to read more poems... I know there are people out there that can do that!!!!

- Final notes: I decided to close this contest early because I already had 30 entries and judging was going to be hard. The ones that I chose spoke to me because they felt more personal than the ones that had been entered in a lot of other contests... That was not a rule and there were so many great poems to choose from and that made it very hard...
The reason I needed hope is I have had a major upheavel in my life.. My teenage son was arrested and has been sitting in juvenile hall since the beginning of sept... HE has not been convicted of anything and while he sits he just gets more depressed... Thank you for being there... EVERYONE!!!!
