I had a conversation with another poet here last night and realize that I choose winners in contests according to who touch me in the greater way. But then I knew that already. LOL

Gold - "Laura" by Catressa Raynett
What a wonder this poem is. There are layers here. A subtle beauty in words and feels. Cat's passion abounds in poetic fervor. A must read.
Silver - "Day Dreaming Thespian" by Samplette
Now, this poet knows my Thespian nature. She staged this production with pure magic. I love her for penning me. Great!
Bronze - "Velvet" by Star Shine
That soapbox calls us on so many occasions in life. This poet took us there with ease. The apprehension, anxiety, the whole nine... Gotta take a look at this!
Honorable Mention - "I'll Take A Stand" by Quiet places
We all need to take that stand in life. This poet took it with words and actions in this poem. Excellent!
