To those of you who read my poem on Reducing Global Warming, or are reading it for the first time below, this is my thank you and challenge to you to now spread the word by taking a piece of the poem or another idea on how to reduce global warming and fashioning your own poem. We can make a difference if we all do at least some of these things!
Just take the bus or train, don't fly; yes, bike!
And keep your car well tuned with air in tires.
Consolidate your errands in one trip
and catch the rainwater that falls, fix drips!
Adjust your water heater by degrees- just two's enough to save a lot, don't sneeze!
And keep your thermostat down
while the breeze from air conditioning you lower, please.´
Sign up with a Green energy supplier that uses wind and solar,
do not burn the wood
and do not ever use the drier- hang up your clothes
and wear them (your clothes) more than once
Turn off the lights each time you leave the room.
Print out on double sides;
when you're away from AP turn your monitor off, too.
Buy all your garden produce locally or grow your own, sustainable,
stay free of over packaged food, supplies,
and be as conscientious as you ought to be when throwing out the old and buying new, see if a little fix-it-up might do.
Say thanks each time you drink straight from the tap for sparing all those bottles you might buy from having to be melted down,
the crap you do not use will match the coins you save.

Thanks for hosting this contest, your list really probably makes many uncomfortable, as I know I have become quite spoiled, and guilty of having a humongous carbon footprint! So, it's great to have this list to make us all think, and hopefully change.
