Angels Of The Earth Contest is a contest to see how and why you consider yourself an Angel, or an angels helper. Tell me about something you have done or plan to do to help out your fellow man, encouraging others to become an Angel of the earth. Earthbound angels are all around, and you never know when you are entertaining those angels.
This is what we are looking;
We want good poetry here so please don't rush this. Dig deep people, we know you have it in you.
We want something penned that goes
deeper that the typical cliched
expressions.
We want imagery, and emotion here. We love originality.
We reserve the right to remove anything inappropriate.
RULES:
Any style or format is fine
No dark, cutting, suicide, emo, etc. (that's not what the normal angel does )
No erotica
Nice backgrounds are fine, just nothing unreadable in them or fonts colors please
No line limit.....but no novels please (Heavenscent4U has ADD lol
Unless you rhyme well....DON'T!
Proper spelling and grammar are a must.
Style is a must.
Passion is "Everything"
Poetic devices are your friend....USE THEM!
We will add HM's according to entries received. If your poems aren't of good quality, the points will get reduced, we haven't put up big points for nothing.
We reserve the right to extend, close
or delete this contest if we so choose to.
We reserve the right to remove any entry that
does not fit or breaks the rules WITHOUT
reason or warning and don't expect any whining about it.
We reserve the right to comment when we please although we may not comment until the contest closes but we WILL comment on EVERY entry.
Please do not rate our comments or reply to them until the end of the contest as we want to keep this anonymous and please ask your friends to refrain from using your name in their comments to you.

- Final notes: Well, here you have them, the winners. The Essence of an Angel was undoubtedly my favourite by far, so much passion and feeling, very good work!!!! The other winners were in-tuned with rules and had a good idea of the passion we were looking, but in all honesty, could have dug a little deeper. With the quality of entrys we recieved, I in part with the co-host was very disappointed in most of them. The rules were in english and very plainly written.
Again, thanks to the winners and everyone who enter'd.

Congrats to the winners, as soon as I read your pieces I knew they were winners.
As for the rest of the entries, I was kind of disappointed, you either didn't follow the contest rules or could have dug so much deeper for this contest. Remember, we said we wanted to see passion

hello sweet sis and Angel w o Wings. I bookmarked this and will probably give it a try. But I must admit that it will be hard for me to see myself as an angel or a helper lol

]It probably would have been easier had you asked us to write about someone else that we think of as an angel [I can think of quite a few] some with full fledged wings, others with broken ones] <------oh-oh.....wondering if I am responsible for breaking those wings?
