A strong collection of poetry. As Cvillelisa so aptly noted purple looks sad in this contest- instead of victorious or regal as it is known in many parts of the world.

I would like to take a minute and recognize not only the talent of cvillelisa and rebeka but their shared sense of poetic community in these contests. They both went above and beyond in commenting on many if not all of the entries here.

Love these colour contests of yours, Mary. I have actually written a cinquain earlier this year about "speak in purple"
