Hello Everyone! It's Contest Time Once Again!!!
Alright so lets get started. There are so many rewards poems in the rewards section that it takes so long for most of them to get read. I know that I have at least three pieces in the rewards section that I entered a good two months ago. So if you have a rewards poem enter it here, this way I can get a better feel for the poems that people on AP really want you to read. All the points from the comments I make on poems for this contest will be saved for a big rounds contest! It may take a little while to get going because the rounds contest will be no less than 3000 points total. SO to get myself as many points as possible for that contest this rewards poem contest will remain open for a month. The closing date will be December 4th.
Rules:
1)No erotica, sensual is fine.
2)No domestic abuse.
3)No suicide....you can be depressed, you can talk about how useless and point less your existence is if you choose so, but no suicide, oh and no cutting either!
4)No poems over 75 lines, if you have a poem that is too long I will not be able to remember it as well as a poem that is shorter, so I could not judge it fairly, which is not fair to you....Follow the line limit to avoid boring me!
5)In regards to spelling and sticky caps: I don't care. Who ever said that poetry was about being grammatically correct? Do what ever you want I do not want to hinder your creative vision!!
6)All poems must be a rewards poem. If they are not I will give you 24 hours notice to correct this mistake, only one warning. This also means that if you have a poem that is not currently a rewards poem or if you would like to write a new piece you may as long as you make it a rewards poem. Just to clarify though it only has to remain a rewards poem until I make my comment! After that it does not have to be a rewards to remain in the contest!
7)Comment on at least two other poems. Since I have no way to check this I will have to trust you will do it, but that is why these people have made their poems rewards poems, so that others would be more inclined to read them!!!
8)Be creative and have fun, as well you may enter as many times as you like.
9)You must follow all rules! I reserve the right to disqualify any one at anytime, and unless it is a question of the 24 hour notice for making your poem a rewards poem, you will be dq automatically for not following the rules.
OK so that is that! Enter and have fun!!!
Ok I have a small update for all of you! It seems that there is a lot of confusion as to what a rewards poem is. It is any poem that rewaeds a specified number of coments double points on comments over 100 characters. If you do not currently have a rewards poem
its no problem, you can add a reward to any poem. Go to the poem you would like to add a reward to. On the left hand side click on more options. More options will appear, click on add reward than follow the instructions to follow!!!
