Because the most important thing in the world is always ourselves and our minds, I want a poem that describes the deepest, darkest realms of your soul.
I don't want to hear " I'm a 15 year old girl who likes blah blah blah..." I want in depth characterization. I'm asking you to really look at yourself and to give me the most unique thing you can produce. Go back to your origins, to your childhood, because it is then that your personality first began to develop. Shed light on the untouched corners of your mind and tell me what you found.
I don't care if your poem is super happy, revolting, scary, filled with depression etc. Don't be afraid to show yourself, who ever that may be. I'm judging for creativity and original ideas.
The rules are pretty simple:
1. HONESTY. I want to hear about you not some character you made up.
2. Limit cursing and profanity to a minimum because it shows lack of more interesting terms and it will be marked down under creativity.
3. No adult content please, of any kind, for any reason. I'm sorry but site policy prohibits me from viewing it, because I'm only 13. So please just don't enter it in this contest.
While writing please disregard my age as it might influence your writing in depth; I am capable of understanding philosophical and psychological reasoning so please produce as if talking to an adult audience...I'm sick of people dumbing things down because of my age.
So that's all. Have fun and be honest!
