I love to read works from the past. Such a Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dante. All very interesting their views without the modern distractions that we have now to put a stopper on pure imagination from flowing. They're works are spectacular intricacies of the mind developing a story it has never known. When they write, they are learning something. Constantly making discoveries.
3 Options-
1. Write a poem about what it's like to live in the Medieval times anywhere. Don't just think I am speaking of Europe.
2. Write a poem the dangers, trials and tributes of old fashioned life.
3. Write a poem in the style of one of the famous ancient poets, or prophets. Surprise me and research if you like.
This should be fun
