Photography: Don Paolo - dancing in the wind
I want spectacular poetry on wind. How it ruffles your hair, what you hear when it blows, how you listen to it - absolutely anything on the wind. Brevity is preferred.
Here are a few examples ~
another winter’s night. somewhere
from my insides a moan
slips. so clumsily,
I call your name.
I, who only wanted to lay my voice
against your mouth, in the lasting
orgasm of your breath,
softer, drowsier than wind
through a flute,
sit with the thin notes of silence,
abandoned by the song,
and my voice, I see, is something
that keeps slipping past
your mouth
-- Nicolette
I don't want to forget your name
yet, easy as the new wind
the first syllable billows into air
lost in the repetition
of water.
Already I wish to fly
on the single sound of you
that escapes me
before it dives into a hush
and sinks in the sea
of ruins.
-- Zayra Yves
Here are my own feeble attempts -

Make them beautiful. Nothing over 20 lines, please. No adult, erotica or abuse content.
Good luck. Contest closes when I find my winners. Points may go up.
