Contest title is your prompt.
Don't try to amaze me, try to amaze yourself! Take the time and effort to go beyond your own status quo. Write a poem that makes you sit back and say "Wow!" when you read it.
If you write it in 5 minutes you probably aren't doing your best work. Stretch yourself. Make yourself proud of what you write.
You know what I love - imagery, metaphor, message, beauty of language. More importantly, write something that you will love and be glad that you have added to your page of poetry.
Rules:
-Keep it clean
-Don't entitle your poem "Mystic Tears" (you are more creative than that)
-At least 5 lines (may be more)
-No prewrites
-If you are on my favorites list please Reserve your spot so that your completed poem title won't show on my "New by favorites" list.
-HM's may be added
The inkwell is filled. Draw it's supply into your soul's pen and write a masterpiece.

Hey one thing, when do we actually put our title in if we're on your favs?
-
-
Anytime after you have reserved your spot. That way only your "Reserved" title will show in my "New by favorites list" and I won't be able to tell whose poem it is.
