my 37th contest at allpoetry. to some a milestone, to others just a drop in the bucket.
my recent contest was more than stressful to judge. i didn't know if i was going to host another contest for awhile. then i saw this picture from a friend and knew i had to do it. so here i am.
rules are simple: write about what you can gather from the picture. i counted it continously changes having five frames. you may see it differently. that's your task. write how you see it and how it makes you feel. in any form and any style. closing date tba!

- Final notes: i want to thank everyone for attempting this contest. i personally plan to write for the picture someday myself. thanks again for making this another great contest to host. i want to shout out to the person for the double sedoka and giving me a poetic education in that style of writing (as it was a great entry to this contest). i wasn't planning on giving honorable mentions in this contest. as for my last contest, i wasn't there either until i read and commented on all the entries. i felt they were well deserved as i do in this contest. just the picture alone was a tough task to tackle and i'm thrilled for the authors in this contest for doing such. i doubt i will host another contest this year, but i have been known to change my mind (i'm just freaky like that). like to see you authors in my next contest when i do decide to host one. congratulations to each of you from my heart, DARK.

Thank you sooooo much for the HM and the very nice comments pertaining to the Double Sedoka. Only recently, I have started writing much form poetry and find it fun and facinating.
