Welcome, great poets, to my fiftieth contest!
Submit a non-prewritten poem
with,
about,
inspired by,
and replete with,
Passion.
And do it in 50 words or less.
Make it drip with passion.
The dreaded rules:
1. Nothing over 50 words. I shall be counting.
2. No pre-writes.
3. No sticky caps, weird accentuation of words, or chat lingo.
4. Spelling and grammar absolutely count and shall be taken into consideration when judging.
5. Points and closing date may change.
6. Comments to as many as I feel like.
7. Accepting all subjects excluding:
-Rape/Molestation
-Spiritual/Religion
-America/Patriotism/Iraq/Current War
-Cutting/Self Mutilation.
8. Cursing is allowed.
9. I shall remove all poems that I dislike or that break these rules.
10. Anonymity is not an issue.
If I find this contest a failure, I will delete it.
Best of luck...

'Fifty words or *fewer*', no?
(If I should feel inspired again, you'll certainly be my first port of call.) -

I know it must sound silly, but it always seems so out of the blue when I win something. Even though I entered the contest. Usually because I've gone through and picked out a winner already - or something, I suppose.
I'm glad you liked it, congrats on the contest.
