Hello everyone it's been a while since I've been here, I was temporarily retired from writing and now I'm back the reason for this contest is not only to celebrate my rebirth as a writer but, as a person as well.
If you were to die or just retire for good what would be your famous last words? What kind of impact or knowledge would you leave the world with? That's what I want to know.
Now for the ever famous rules
1) No StIcKy TaPs
2) Keep it clean (no cussing or bad language please)
3) Prewrites are welcomed but, don't make me change my mind
4) Just have fun with it.
I'm really looking forward to all of your entries and hope that this contest attracts a lot of interests and if that make be the case then I will consider allowing more people to enter the contest. So I leave everyone with this have fun and I wish everyone the best of luck. May the best poet or poetess win.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on November 7, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Honorable mention: 4 people
- Final notes: First I want to thank everyone who took the time to enter, and second of all I want to thank you for sticking to the rules. Although I thought the contest would attract more people. I realize that it's not about how many entries you get in a contest. It always comes right back down to the poems themselves as long as you have as many good poems in a contest such as this one. It's really all you would ever need. It was very difficult to judge and a lot of time and thought went into judging and I want every one to know that you are all winners in my book and again I want to thank everyone for their time and effort. Thank you

The beauty of poetry is that it is your own. In a world with no possession, poetry is truly the one thing that is internally yours, and no one else's. No one else in history has written those same words that you have. That is• Commented on by judge. [remove]
