I really don't know what pedestrian (walking? da de dum, da de dum?) rhyme or purpple prose are. I won't be offended if you DQ me. But, I'd appreciate knowing what those terms mean. Thanks, Sultan. -

Pedestrian rhyme is rhyme that is boring, predictable, forced and/or unmetered. Purple prose is prose that is too "flowery," uses too many adjectives or looks like it was vomited by a thesaurus.
