    I've only been writing a year ...

I really don't know what pedestrian (walking? da de dum, da de dum?) rhyme or purpple prose are. I won't be offended if you DQ me. But, I'd appreciate knowing what those terms mean. Thanks, Sultan.

Pedestrian rhyme is rhyme that is boring, predictable, forced and/or unmetered. Purple prose is prose that is too "flowery," uses too many adjectives or looks like it was vomited by a thesaurus.

    I'm a little uncertain

I do apologize if you consider my rhyme pedestrian. According to how you defined it, I wouldn't think so myself, but you are the judge. And likewise, I won't be offended if you DQ me.
