Hello
I have created a contest that is broken into four parts, or rounds if you want to call them. There will be no prompts, boundaries, or form requirements. I want true poets who find inspiration from life, from their experiences, not from a word on a computer screen. Although I have been inspired by prompts before, I find my best work comes from my own promptings.
For this contest, I will allow any style of poetry, rhyme or not, but it does have to be poetry. I will not be reading any short stories. I'm on this sight because I love poetry my friends. I do have a few requirements
(I know
)
1. No erotic or cursing, I am 21, but I would like for all age groups to enter here.
2. No crazy Caps, and friendly backgrounds, I still need my eyes for a few decades so be nice to them.
3. I am not putting a line limit on this contest, but I warn you, if it is more that 60 lines, it will probably not win a trophy unless it is amazing. I have a short attention span... sorry.
4. At the moment, I am not really into "love" poetry, so if you do enter a piece dealing with love, I will probably end up scanning through it, sorry, you have been warned. I do love passionate poetry that does not pertain to love of another person, but an idea or a notion something along those lines.
Only half of the people who enter will be allowed to enter my second part of this contest.
The final round winner will be taking quite a few points along with their trophy. Good luck to you all.
I am hoping to get quite a few pieces, if I do not, I will probably delete the contest. I am hoping I do not have to do that.
