here is what I want: I want SAD, or ANGRY break-up poems..... And no erotic make-ups either.

Isn't that simple..... Here is where it gets interesting..... I will choose 20 people to go onto the next round.... and the prices will be EVEN bigger.... the prizes aren’t that great right now (I'm saving up for the other rounds......)

******Oh and if you want some brownie points... don't overdo the cussing and no abuse… I want this to be more of an emotional dispute than a physical one....**** I'm not afraid to DQ people for not listening to the rules. NO SEX NO ABUSE that’s it...

I have found that a lot of these poems are rhyming poems... I would like to warn people that I do not like these kinds of poems more that free-verse... a.k.a if you want brownie points... submit a free-verse poem..........

I want to apologize to some of the contestants. If you received a comment that wasn’t exactly the best criticism please forgive me. When I began this contest I was not single… I had to close this down early because I had to break up with the man I could only dream of being with because it would be too difficult for us to be together in the future. Reading some of these poems literally brought tears to my eyes and some I could not even finish reading because it was so close to how I felt.
Him and I met on allpoetry and have been talking ever since…. Every day we would talk and chat online for hours… we talked on the phone and have many times considered marriage. I only wish that I didn’t blow it with him…
… And with that being said here are the twenty that I have chosen to return to the next contest…

yea... for right now at least... if I don't get many entries and with it being a prewrite contest, I do.... but if I don't I'll change it. I'm going to probably be judging this all by myself (unless my boyfriend wants to help... I havn't got to ask him yet.
