It is no secret that I love erotic and sensual poetry.
I am very particular in what I like to read, however.
I would like you to write an erotic or sensual poem
without using graphic language or what I call, “step by step”
erotica - example: “I kissed her. She moaned. I then touched
her breast....” I hate instructional poetry.
So, your task is to be sensual without being sickeningly sweet,
erotic without killing me with porn and boredom.
HERE ARE YOUR OPTIONS:
1. You may use the image as inspiration
2. Write a poem about a specific sensual act
3. Write a poem to tease
4. Write a poem solely written for the one
you want to make love with (no names)
5. Create a beautifully erotic scene
in a place you've always imagined making
love
I have always tried to find something good in everything
I read, and I usually do, but for this contest I’ve decided it’s
time I get a bit tough in my judging, therefore:
- Be prepared to only submit an edited and well written poem
- Absolutely NO pornographic material or I won’t even comment
- NO flashy backgrounds or images
- Put Option Number in Author Notes - thank you :)
- Left align free verse OR well done rhyme
- Label appropriately
- If the gold winner gives me permission I will feature their poem
on my home page
