Everyone loves someone.
Perhaps you have an AP boyfriend or girlfriend, wife, husband, mistress, etc etc whom you love and adore completely and want to express that love in a deep and meaningful poem.
There are many different kinds of love, but it is love nonetheless. There's friendship love, romantic love, fellow human love, person love, and my personal favourite Universal love. I find it is the Universal love that so many of us find hard to understand or give.
In my own personal view, love is:
a. Something that you give and open yourself up to receive.
b. Relative to the situation, person and environmental influences involved.
c. Completely and utterly possible
d. Something you shouldn't demand or expect from others
e. Something, that when others give to you and you have opened yourself up to receive, is the most beautiful thing in the whole universe (universal love, you can't beat it honestly)
f. A deep and powerful emotion no one can quite describe accurately, except to say it is the base thing for all creation, for without it, there is none.
THE CONTEST
1 Write about love, the kind of love that inspires you and makes you dream.
2 Get deep in the philosophy of love and what it is to you, how do you see it?
3 Show all here on allpoetry what a deep and inspired poet you can be through love.
4 Please be tasteful as I am not a fan of vulgarity really and I would prefer any erotica just to be well .. tasteful lol!
