Update: Since I have misplaced my list and just had to recopy a new one...the additional five people are now eligible. I will try to figure out who they are, but may not be able to. So if you know you added in the past few days, then you're eligible. However, as of 12:37pm (est) 10 October 2007...I have copied this list and put it in a place where I can always find it now. I'm not sure what I did with the other list, but can't find it on my hard drive. I thought for sure I saved it. Since it was my ERROR, it does entitle this contest to be for the 128 people now.
Those individuals are now coordially invited to this contest. Please don't go and add me so you can enter this contest ( I have copied the list and they already know who they are). There's a reason why I'm hosting this contest. I rarely get to comment on their work unless they enter a current contest of mine. While talking to one of these individuals who has not written in awhile, it gave me the idea for doing this contest.
Now for all of those who had me on your list, you must pay attention to the rules for they will be very precise. This contest will be judged at the end of December 2007 or the beginning of January 2008. There's a reason for this! You have over sixty (60) days to enter this contest. The cutoff date is 15 December 2007. I have done similar contests like this before, but this one will be in a gigantic way.
You will be allowed to enter five (5) of your works (prewrites or new). They must not have won a trophy in any other contest. You must leave your winning entry in my contest and you may extract your other four once the contest has been judged. I will pick a winner out of each batch from each poet. Of course there can only be on gold, silver and bronze winners. Each poet has the potential of forty five points for there submission if they only receive an Honorable Mention. You get thirty (30) points for the trophy and fifteen for your entries since I will award every entry one of those yellow guys who clap.
This contest has a potential of me awarding over 6,000 points if all participate. Don't feel rushed since you do have over 60 days to get it done. Howevere, please remember the 15th of December 2007 is the final cutoff date. I will keep moving the closing date to the end or beginning of the year until I can read and comment on the entries. I will be unbiased in my selections even knowing who you are. I'm very fair when I judge and it doesn't matter if you're my best friend or someone I rarely talk to. Just please be patient in this type of contest for it will require plenty of time and may have to review the entries as many as five or six times a piece since this contest may have many.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask here or IM me. It may take awhile to get back to you, but at least this contest gives plenty of time.
