My final comments here are that all were written well! Of course, my heart is drawn to those that piccked up on the prompt, and those with the spirit and soul of our native people.This particular village is a new village, not wiped out by man but by nature..A glacier broke away several hundred years ago in Alaska and they the few remaining had to move several hundred miles down the coast...It was terribly tough with four great contenders on the subject.The others were not prompted accurately..and some probably that would likely have liked to enter thought they were over the deadline time....All participants get a trophy... But as listed, Gold, silver and bronze in the order listed, honorable mentions follow...Thank you for participating in a contest that would be challenging...but I was amazed at the imaginative spirit that came through the minds' imagination and pen..and for all I ask you to write on...another trophy can sit among your treasures..Thank you Rose Angel
