A fond farewell

I have wanted to make this contest for so long, and i finally got around to it.

I want you to write about loss.
Saying goodbye to someone you loved.
It doesn't matter why you said goodbye, any reason at all will do.

I recently developed an obsession with elliott smith, and this contest is dedicated to him.

The inspiration to start this contest came from his song, a fond farewell.

The only rule is you have to use and Elliott smith song as the title, any one you want.
there are alot, so don't worry, it shouldn't be hard at all.

If you don't know any, just look it up on google.
