It's been a year since I've hosted a contest, so I am back with Contest #7... I think!
I've spent a REALLY long time accumulating these 10,000+ points, so PLEASE make this worth my while!
Just so everybody knows, I am partial to freeverse, so if you're going to rhyme, you'd better be good! Anyway...

THE OPTIONS:
1: EROTICA
-Give me something HARD, something spectacular. I want to be all hot and bothered by the end of your piece!
2. DARK
-I don't care, just make it dark. I want imagery, metaphors, utter brilliance.
3. DEPRESSION
-Tell me what depression feels like for you. I want to cry with you, bleed with you. I want to FEEL your pain, not just read it.
4. ADDICTION
-It can be a person, an object, a feeling, whatever... Give me obsession and dependency!
5. THE TWIST:
-For anyone who's feeling extra-special creative: Give me something weird [ie self-harm, mental instability], and make it erotic! Have a look at my story, "Love Like Blood", for an example of what I'm looking for [in poetic form, of course]: http://storywrite.com/story/84163. Nail this one, and I'll give you 300 points on the spot, but it'd better be AMAZING!
Now, for everyone's FAVOURITE part...
THE RULES:

2. SPELLCHECK IS YOUR FRIEND! And for the love of God, use it! If i see poor spelling/grammar, then I will decapitate you!
3. No chat speak [ex: LYK OMG ILY!]
4. No politics/religion
5. No bashing your hostess, your fellow contestants, or their entries.
6. No smut. There is a difference between sensual and smutty, and I would MUCH prefer to see the former.
7. No emo/'dirty-pretty' garbage.
8. Please place your option # in the authors' notes.
9. No hard-to-read fonts or backgrounds.
10. No epics please. I'm terribly ADD!
11. Do NOT rate my comments! I don't want to know who you are... I am going to judge this thing blind!

- Final notes: Firstly, I just want to say that this contest was really hard to judge! I loved everyone's work, and I'm SO proud of you all for doing this contest justice... I was amazed by everyone, and the trophy winners definitely deserve them!
In order:
Gold: "Inevitable Death"
Silver: "Soul Reaper"
Bronze: "Carnage Rose"
HMs to "Tortured Mind", "Addiction", and "Cupid's Arrow Struck".
Also, a bonus 300 points to the author of 'My Fix', for such a wonderful attempt at the twisted option... Very erotic, and a great piece of art!
To all of you, thank you so very much for making this contest worth the time that I put into it! I thoroughly enjoyed each and every write! A job well done to all!

The only reason for the 18+ is because I am allowing erotica and adult content as options, and I know I wouldn't want my 16-year-old siblings reading that stuff. Otherwise, it would be open to all.
