So here's the gist...listen up.
You are to create a worker's anthem to the tune of your national anthem. Sound easy? it is, and fun, it can be for your job, or if you want a different job.
Pretty much anything goes
EXCEPT...
NO Erotica
NO Sticky Caps
NO Excessive Swearing
Other than that have fun
Rules
It must be to a national anthem (perferably U.S.A or Canadian)
You must include which country the tune is from in the authors notes...must...i don't want to DQ anyone.
Bonus's for keeping the rhyme scheme the same as the original, and for correct sylables per line.
Just to show you it can be done, Hddninshdws and I have written one up (we are cojudging) here it is...
Oh, Housekeepers!
Our job and working force,
True cleaning pride
With all our clean-up source.
With towels fresh
We clean your room,
the good fast cleaning staff.
From room to room
Oh housekeepers
We don’t do things in half.
We’ll keep your room
and have a laugh
Oh, housekeepers we clean your rooms with pride,
Oh, housekeepers
we clean your rooms with pride
see easy (that was to Oh Canada by the way)
So leap up, there are giant amounts of points,
SO get typing, you have lots of time!!
We've had to extend it a couple of times due to lack of entries but as soon as we get the required 20 we will be judging!!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on December 3, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 800, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: So so so very sorry it took me so long to judge, i was just getting settled in a new night shift job, and the change of schedule was messing me up. Nonetheless a fantastic bunch of entries. There were many serious, many hillarious, many plumbers, and many lawyers, there were also a few that didn't apply to the contest at all. I loved reading your entries. So thanks for entering.
Gold went to: Anthem of an I.R.S. Customer Servent
For the rest you can check my contest page if you want to read them. I advise it. They are all really good!!

Hehe this actually sounds like an absolute riot- I've never seen a contest like this on AP! I shall be back later this evening to see if I can get something down.
-
Since you seem to like the two worst entries best and have ignored the clever entries, why should I waste my time?

Thanks for the trophy, congrats to the other winners
