Love or Distant Charm

I won Masterblaster's PIF contest a few days ago, http://allpoetry.com/poem/3417018  and I am honored to host this contest. I request the Gold Award Winner to consider hosting a similar contest, given time and interest.

The theme of this contest is the Photo prompt (above) and the word prompt (below), you may write to either, or if you can manage to both.

Feel free to reserve and complete before closing.

There is a sixty word limit, and I will count if it seems an entry is over the limit.

Twenty entries, six prizes.

Contest will close at the end of Saturday,[9/22] and I will judge with my morning coffee on Sunday[9/23].

Sixty words or less

free verse preferred
but any form is acceptable, in honor of Di
I will be kind to rhyming poems( and she is among the best).

Word Prompt:

"Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love."

from - Leo Tolstoy
(1828-1910) Russian Novelist, Moral Philosopher.

I use that Tolstoy quote as my motto here on AP as I truly believe it. Lovely contest idea, PK. I'm all out of love but love is still my motto so perhaps I can write something about it!
