We have your TWO NEW JUDGES who are donating at least ( 20-30 ) hours of *their time* a week to help Judge the POD & POW ~

Look over to your right, up top under my name ~

These are good People....please respect them ~

 

 

Also needing Judges for the POM!

 

Please IM me asap if you think you can be fair, honest and unbias ~

 

 

There are only ( 10 ) spots avilable for the POD ~

 

 

If your poem does not meet the POD criteria, it will be DQ'd without notice to the Poet!

...as this is a Poetry contest,

not a Partiality contest ~

 

 

For this POD, you must take on the Genre of, *LUST* ~

 

Your write must be geared towards the Theme of,

Personal Lust, toward someone, or others in general ~

 

Same sex, opposite sex, both sexes...doesn't matter ~

 

If you read this, please place *LUST* in your Authors' Notes along with, *POD* ~

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

 

Each Poet is only allowed to enter ( 1 ) POD per week, and ( 1 ) POW per month ~

 

Any Poet is allowed to enter the POM, but, if you are entering a poem which has already been critiqued by the Judges, then it must have been edited as we have suggested ~

 

It will receive a Brief review and Judged again ~

 

However........it will be going up against Fresh Poetry!

 

Only 20 spots available for the POM!

 

Yes....PW's will be open for the POM ~

 

 

Please take your time, and be sure to read the message about Pre-Writes, 11 lines down ~

 

 

The *POD* is 300 points for Gold, plus ( 3 ) HM's ~

 

The *POW* is 500 points for Gold, plus ( 3 ) HM's ~

 

The *POM* is 700 points for Gold, plus ( 3 ) HM's,

plus a ( 3 ) month Silver Membership ~

 

The *POY* = Poem of the Year, will receive a significant Award of Points, and of course, YOU, will hold sole Title of, ~ Poet of the Year ~, plus,

a ( 6 ) month Gold membership ~

 

So, for this POD, I would like for you to show me your best FRESH poem ~

 

Pre-writes are NOT welcomed this time ~

 

I will be looking at FRESH Poetry written specifically for this contest!

 

25 lines or less!

Grammar & Spell Check A MUST!

 

If I, or the Collaborating Judge/s miss a grammatical mistake, then good for you!

 

If we catch it, it will be held against your entry ~

 

UNCOMMON THEMES!!

 

I want GREAT Poetry!

 

Anything goes!

 

EXCEPT.....26 lines or more, massive cursing, perverted stuff, or HARD Erotica ~

 

Sensual is fine, but this genre usually doesn't do well ~

 

Young Poets will have access to this contest ~

 

If we feel the need to DQ your entry, please do not be harsh with us, as we are only finding your entry to not fit the criteria to be POD, POW or the POM ~

 

I want to be inspired by something UNCOMMON!!

ALSO.....watch out for the *Religious* tone in your writes......I am a God-Fearing Man, but Religious tones can become quite *Common* as well ~

 

This is NOT to be-little my Faith, or your attempt to write about yours, it is just a warning that ( UNCOMMON ) Themes are what I enjoy most!

 

Also....if you submit a Poem of *Form*, pleeeez use this syllable counter..>>>

Please be kind to these Judges, as we are here to find the Best poems for these Contests and have fun along the way ~

 

These contests have become so popular, that I have found myself out of personal time, therefore, needing collaborating Judges ~

 

The POW is now opened sooner as well with 15 spots available, and the first 20 spots get a chance at being in the POM!!

Great news from Kevin, the owner of Allpoetry ~

He is in support of this *Sequence of Contests*, and is granting Silver & Gold Memberships to be received from the best POM's & the best POY's ~

These are a ( 3 ) month Silver for the POM's....and a ( 6 ) month Gold Membership for the POY, so how cool is that? ~

Also........the POM & of course the Poem of the Year, the POY, will be displayed on the Front Page of AP ~

.....however....this will NOT take place until Kevin and I have worked out further details ~

We are hopefully going to be creating different colored Trophys for the POM & the POY ~

This is Very exciting news for us all!!

I am proud to say, that I am sole holder of the POD, POW, POM & the POY Contests ~

 
You should all be proud to be a part of history in the making as AP takes on another milestone in its' history of bringing Poets together ~

Finally, remember one thing....I am Proud of all of you for striving to be the best you can be, and for not giving up, even when I say ...no, or, I'm sorry....or even when I make my own simple mistakes ~

I want good Poetry that will make me want to read it and think.....wow.....that's grrrreat!

    What a nice way to end the last POD for the 3rd week in September ~

    We are all sorry about this being Judged a day late ~



    trista is having bad storms, and we don't want her active PC to get struck by lightening ~

    Eric was busy all day at work yesterday and today with unexpected issues, and I, hmmmm.....I was just plain worn out from remodeling work going on here at the house ~


    Nonetheless, we do try our best to keep these contests on track!

    The POW will be out tomorrow evening for the weekend ~

    If you have already entered a POW for the month, you can not enter another, as you are only allowed to enter one POW per month ~



    OK....what a terrific POD contest!

    This has got to be my fav. yet!

    As pleasureable as my first POD was to judge and read, this second effort far exceeded it somehow. We had some wonderful writes, and some very tough decisions to make from a judging standpoint.

    I like the fact that the judges don't always see things the same way, and it goes to show why we need multiple judges.

    Ark, sorry to be a pain in the backside - but you said this was going to be closed on Tuesday (which has gone past) the 19th of September. Today is the 19th, wondered if that's what you actually meant. I'm very awkward, sorry about that *cries*

      Not a Pain..hehe ~

      The POD always opens the night before at 9pm.....so the Poets who are in Australia, or a different counrty, 12 hours ahead of me, in California, have the opportunity to have as much time to enter the POD as well ~

      In other words....it is 11:15 am Wednesday here, Pacific time, Califrornia.....but it is 3 am Thurs in Australia ~

      If I don't get this posted in time, they'll never have the time to enter...which is not fair ~

      ....and since I'm so tired from working on the house....I over slept and didn't get it posted until about two hours ago...which is not fair to our Aussie Friends ~

    Thank you so much...

    For these great contests! I really appreciate all of the time that you three spend judging the poems.
    Also--thank you for the gold! I'm so excited.
    Congrats to all of the other poets, as well. I certainly couldn't have judged these pieces.
