Dedication to the past...

This contest is inspired by my two favorite writers..
Charles Bukowski and Edgar Allen Poe.. If your not familiar with them, PLEASE find some of their stuff and read it, its amazing.

So I want poems, short stories, thoughts, quotes, whatever, inspired by those two magnificent writers!! It can be anything there is NO boundaries!!!

No Rules, No boundaries, just let your thoughts pore out into words!

Im going to allow prewrites ONLY if its relevant to the subject, if its not, don't waste your time entering it..

Final notes:
Well, the contest wasnt as popular as I would have hoped but I got some really good entries!

First place went to "On the Edge and Beyond", It was beautiful, haunting, and powerful! Definately suggest you read it! Especially if your a fan of Bukowski and Poe!

Second place went to "Writer of Immortal Words" It was a beautiful dedication to Edgar Allen Poe, all the words I search to say but cant find.

Third place goes to "dark tales of the boogerman" Dark and haunting, but beautifuly written poem, reminds of a Poe styled poem.

I want to thank everyone for participating and This was an amazing dedication to the two best writers of all time.. The other entries were beautiful too, which really made the judging hard! I chose the top three that I felt expressed their love for the writers, or inspiration from the writer, which was exactly what this contest was for! I hope you all use your points for the better and have a good day all! Thank you for making this contest a joy to host!
