The Cowboy Rides Away

Howdy yall. Well I am back for my third and final contest. My days here at AllPoetry are numbered and I wanted to host one last contest.
One of the best things about writing poetry is it leaves you vulunerable to everyone and everything in the world around you. One of the worst things about writing poetry is it leaves you vulunerable to everyone and everything in the world around you. This is where you come in.
I want you to bear your souls on any subject. While I will provide some options below, you may do your own thing. I'm looking for emotion, vulnerability, love and appreciation for those around you. Whoever they may be.
For the remainder of my poetry to come is some of the most personal I have ever shared with the public so to speak. So you do the same.
(All though I will be here til the end of October, I wanted to have a chance to say thanks to everyone for your comments and support. You have deeply enriched my life.) with sincerity and much love from deep in the Lone Star, Richard aka PureCountry

Contest Options:
A: Anything

B: Be Inspired by any song title listed below:
Take Me There by Rascal Flat,
A Woman's Love by Alan Jackson,
My Maria by Brooks and Dunn,
Carrying Your Love With Me,
I Just Want To Dance With You,
True,
One Night At A Time,
The Cowboy Rides Away all by George Strait

C: The Pic above, figure out where it is from, it's name and write a poem. Put all the info in your author's comments. (Absolutly Beautiful Place, Hope to return there someday!)

D. Ultimate consideration: Visit my page and poetry, be inspired. Hint: I believe life is lived in the details. The more detailed aspect of me you can be inspired about by reading my work, the better for your consideration during judging. Just be gentle!

      Thanks from this Texan

      Well Chuck,
I apreciate your comment and your poem was a true gem. However you're right, no prewrites were allowed. However with that much originality, I am sure you could still come up with something equally as good. Look forward to hearing from you, if you choose to enter.
As per your question, I think I'll pass for now.
