The idea for this contest comes from a
conversation I had with my sis Daoine a
couple of nights ago via phone.
We were discussing a question placed on
a quiz. That question being
“What do you consider foreplay? Define foreplay.”
Now we had both agreed that many would associate
the word 'foreplay' with sex itself and thus most likely
be define as fondling, rubbing, caressing, dirty talk
and such.
Now the dictionary defines 'foreplay' as:
sexual stimulation, usually as a prelude to sexual
intercourse.
We, agree to an extent.
That extent raising a new question,
the question of
“What is classified as sexual stimulation?”
Think about the question before you attempt
to answer. Does it truly have to be a physical
touch or verbally spoken or even whispered?
Why not a simple look?
A flirtatious smile or playful gesture?
Or even a perfume or cologne?
Truly stop and think of what your partner
does that puts you in the mood or what you
do to them to put them in the mood without
resorting to the typical cliched definitions.
Write us a poem about foreplay and only
foreplay. We do not want any kind of sexual
acts of intercourse, oral sex or such as part of
your write; just foreplay.
What is foreplay to you?
What really awakes your senses
and ignites the flames of passion
and desire within you?
Give us your poetic definition
of foreplay from your thoughts,
experiences and from your mind.
Please remember foreplay should
seduce and stimulate the mind
as well as the body.

No cliché ~ we are looking for beyond the cliché

- Final notes: Our deepest apoligies for taking so long to judge this and thank you for your patience but as you all know life runs a muck sometimes and when your co-judge gets extremely sick that doesn't help either.
The gold winner was a solid piece and gave us EXACTLY what we were not only looking for but what we personally spoke about as to what we felt for us was foreplay/seduction.
Silver was simply but again gave us what we were talking about.
Bronze was on the fence with us both as we both liked it but different reasons...lol and so we decided it deserved to be awarded.
