We all know we’re good at what we do…
which of course is criminal stuff. So... in this contest you are to kidnap one of your poems and redo it.
What I'd like is for your to show the orignal poem first, then below that in the same poem content space, makeover the poem into something even more delectable. Optimze it, tweak it, dress it up or down but keep the basic original poem essence intact.
You may enter twice (with different poems of course)
The usual rules apply. We may be criminals but we're nice ones.
Winner will receive 400 points in addition to the Gold trophy... but must give back 300 points and host the next contest as per our contest guidelines posted in the forum.
Silver and Bronze winners will get 100 points each and there will be Honorable Mentions with 30 points each.
Remember to read the other entries as you'll be voting for the winners.
Now, get out your pallettes and pens and get to work, the contest will end after just 10 days.

I have made over my poems plenty but I almost always trash the old version. There is always something that can be done to make improvements and it makes us better poets to go back and fix it again. -
