Welcome to the Young Poet Contests Society's
first annual Halloween bash! This is going to be the biggest Halloween bash on Allpoetry.
We have some incredible prizes for this contest! Not only will we be giving away tons of points and trophies, but Kevin is donating gold and silver memberships to our top three winners!So come on in! Join the fun and win some of these awesome prizes!

Now for the dreaded rules and judging...
Rules:
1) You must be 15 years old or YOUNGER to enter
2) We must be able to read your poem. So please no busy backgrounds. We want to see your work.
3) We realize some of you are 15, but this is for younger poets too.
So no "adult" material in this contest. No abuse, no suicide.
This also means no profanity...there is no need for it.
4) PLEASE put the option number and choice in your author's comments so we know what inspired your poem. Thanks.
This is a real contest, we want your best work.
We will be judging based on the following:
1) The age of the poet entering the contest
2) The creativity of the poem you have entered
3) capitalization, spelling, grammer of your poem
4) The form of poetry you have chosen to write
5) How well your poem fits the option you've chosen
You may enter as much as you'd like but...
you MUST choose a different option for each entry.

Okay... I admit to it, I lied about my age on my bio... I'm really only 9 years old, not 70... so expect my entry very soon. And I promise to be honest about my age from now on (fingers crossed)

this is my story
OK, i dont know how to enter, so im writing it here:
Title: The Girl without a heart(My monster)
I was walking o the street of dead lane, rumored to have half the poeple walking on it dead. I sighed, no dead people yet. I saw a really pretty girl though. She had long hair, dark, and milky white skin. Her eyes seemed....yellow. Her face was scratched, and she wore a long blue dress, that ended at her feet, JUST not touching the groud. She was like that pretty statue in the store, you wanted to touch her, so closely, closer, close, touched. But I didn't feel anything, just coldness. She turned to me with that scratched up face and yellow eyes. Then she was gone. A ghost, a ghoul, I thought to myself. It was late that night, I couldn't sleep, her face, and those YELLOW eyes...the yellow eyes that seem ed just to look right through you. I shivered. It was a cold night, but I needed some fresh air, I went and opened my window. I climbed back into bed and closed my eyes.
Woosh. A sound came from my window, I opened my eyes and saw nothing. I later opened my eyes. There she was, kneeling by my bed, rocking back and forth, back and forth... I sat up strait, and she looked at me. Her eyes peircing my whole body. I shivered and whispered in my softest vpoice" Who are you?" She didn't answer me, but something came into my mind..a name..a girls name. Elizibeth."Eli?"
I said, she nodded. Next question. "What do you want?" Another mind awnswer, Life. I looked at her oddly, a questioning look. Everything went black for me. And The next morning I woke up, in a old colonial house. I heard my mother calling my name:
"Elizibeth!" -
