This is a pif from Kandy's contest...
This is an easy one, I would
like you all to enter what you
think is your best write
to come out of a quickie contest.
It has to be 50 words or less.
I am looking for powerful
meaning within the poem:
- succinct
- imagery
- metaphor
and presentation.
thanks!

The contest will close after
100 entries, (or when they
stop coming in...lol)
I will be removing poems,
only to keep it organized,
I'll probably just keep about
40-50 poems in at the end.
**I think one poem already got
removed by accident before I read it
that happens sometimes, if it was yours,
please let me know. (or if you removed it)

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on September 20, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 400, Bronze: 300, Honorable mention: 7 people
- Final notes: Thank you all so much for your entries, I am amazed at the amount of dark poetry into the contest - as this is how people are feeling when they write these quickies,..anyways, the top 22 are all great - I enjoyed reading and commenting on all of the poems...the 10 winners are beautiful poems of how I see this world too, how the world is and will be is how we choose to see it, and a reflection of all we are and project, in poetry too, and so I think a lot of the poems are love/sensual poems, as well as ones of hope, happiness, and light that I chose to be in the finalists...thank you all.

Congrats to All The Winners Here!
Thank-you so much for this amazing recognition!
I have to agree with you-what we put out is what will find us in this world. So many have no concept of this universal truth. Now, I'm off to read the others at the top as I am a fan of positive writes too. Thank-you for hosting this and for gracing my write with gold. Blue -
