Below are some 28 avatars I have gathered which might inspire some offbeat and fun haiku. Please do not describe the avatar, but let your haiku relate to the image in some way. Please use any one of the following avatars to draw haiku 17 syllables-or-less for this contest:

Ingenious yet tricky idea for this contest. I have been thinking of opening a pics inspired haiku contest and I hope to do so soon, but these avatars are something else .... I can't wait to read the entries in this contest.

Hi Rachel! A couple of these images do freeze-up, #17 being one of them. I've tried changing it up, but the same thing happens. The cat's eyes are supposed to wiggle around.
Hoping you can post an entry--I was thinking of you when I posted those cat avatars!
