Okay. well I've held quickies before but this time... that's now what this is. 30 people can enter because I do wanna read good poetry just I probably won't have enough time to read many more than 30.
Rules:
1. No bashing
2. No StIcKyCaPs. Plain annoying!
3. Try for spelling. a lil bit of mistakes aren't bad but dont have HUGE mistakes.
4. chat lingo like lil and wanna are okay. but dont use them in excessive amounts. it's annoying.
5. put option number in authors box. If you don't I'll give you one warning then your poem will be deleted. no ifs, ands, or butts about it.
6. enjoy yourself. the poem doesn't have to rhyme and if it does it better not seem forced...
7. you can add a prewrite IF and ONLY IF it goes with the option you choose. Okay. you can also enter more than one poem. but it can't be on the same option. For example if you did option 1 c you can do 1 a 1 b or 1 d if you want. just not 1c =]
I will close this contest when either the time runs up, no one else is entering, or the spots are filled. The judging shouldn't take too long though.
Options:
#1. Pick one of the following quotes and either let it inspire you -OR- use it in your poem somewhere
A. "Never let a fool kiss you or a kiss fool you."
B. "You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club." -Jack London
C. "Don't accept rides from strange men, and remember that all men are strange."- Robin Morgan
D. "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault."- Dr. David M. Burns
#2. pictures. since I am not a gold member I can't add all the pictures. so... you'll have to click on the links =]. pick one picture and write what you feel from it. don't just write what you see.

Word Banks. you must use all the words int he word bank you choose. if you choose this option please if you can underline the words to make it easier for me to make sure you have them all. you can use as many word banks as you want in 1 poem. =] Oh. and if words are on the same line they are to be used together.
