Image Contest

 

 

 

Study the image posted very carefully then write a poem based on the inspiration, thoughts, and feelings the image imprints upon your mind, heart and soul.  Don't rush it.  Look at it, absorb it, internalize it and give it some serious thought.  You have time before this one closes so there's no excuse for shoddy work here.

Spelling and grammar count.

  • Final notes:
    First of all, I want everyone know that I increased the point amounts slightly simply because I was quite impressed by the work I found here.

    Secondly, I have to express the fact that I had GREAT difficulty on how to arrange those that I wanted to award trophies. This was probably one of the more difficult that I have had to place in a long time which both pleases me and distresses me.

    You guys are simply awesome. I know that sounds so cliche' so you really are so PLEASE take time to savor the works of one another here. I think you will enjoy them as much as I did. And as always, thank you all for entering.

    Good choice of image! The directions these entries take will be fun to see. I was instantly inspired. Let's see if I can translate that into words in the next week or so...

      I was very touched by this image. I myself studied it for a long time last night and at one point it even sent chills running through me. I couldn't help but create a contest around it. I hope the words fall into place for you. Good luck!
