Little Madeleine McCann from England, was abducted while on holiday with her parents and twin brother and sister in Portugal last week, she was snatched from her bed as she slept...fears are growing for her safety...she should be at home having exciting birthday celebrations, it was her fourth birthday yesterday...relatives back home still celebrated, hoping all the time that she would be found and returned, they sent up pale pink balloons soaring into the sky!

With each passing day the chances of a happy outcome dwindle. Even as Mr. McCann spoke, the Portuguese authorities were scaling down the search for his daughter in the scrub around Praia da Luz. Success now depends upon very good detective work, a lucky break or both.
I am asking for poems of prayer for this little girl, praying that she is not harmed in any way, and to be returned into the arms of her parents...every prayer counts, look upon this as not a contest but a place to leave your thoughts and prayers...they are desperately needed.
If anyone has any information about Madeleine, no matter how little, please don’t hesitate to inform the authorities...she could be in your area anywhere around the world...she has a distinctive beautiful face, in her right eye the pupil bleeds down, it is very noticeable and cannot be changed by her abductor

British police are calling on members of the public to help further in the search for Madeleine McCann. If you were at the Ocean Club Resort, Praia da Luz or in the surrounding areas in the two weeks leading up to Madeleine’s disappearance on Thursday 3 May then we would like to have copies of any photographs taken during your stay.
In particular we would like any pictures that have people in them who you don’t know as opposed to scenery shots or pictures of just your own family.

That's awful. Just reading the article. It's terrible the fact she might be dead, how could anyone do that kind of thing to a child? How could ANYONE harm someone so little. Not even an adult who could protect themselves? I'm very upset and I know it sounds stupid, but I can't believe it. I can't believe her parents might've done it too. If they did, I'd hunt them down myself. I don't believe in letting justice run, a child would've been lost.
OK, I'm sorry for the rant... Just upset and angry. Love what you are doing, very inspiring and beautiful of you

I just seen on the news this morning that the police had questioned maddy's mother for 11 hours , hopefuly something will come out of this and we may get some answers

omg when I read this for about the 50th time I still had tears streaming down my face. I guess it's because I have a sister who looks just like this and I cannot imagine her being missing... and poor little innocent people, even if they're older, should never have anything like this happen to them.

thank you very much for the gold trophy but it seems meaningless to me knowing that the little girl is still out there somewhere and not knowing is the hard part , i just wish that something would come from it pretty soon , i'd like to share my thoughts on everyones poems concearning this matter , it is very emotional and hard to deal with , sincerely brad...
